Trip to Cali II

So we decided to get away from the craziness of our lives and head to Cali. We knew the Lawrence's were in town so we planned to see them and Also some old friends from the PP ward which we haven't seen since Isaiah was born. We left at 6am Tuesday morning. on our trip at one of out stops there was a small museum with tanks outside.

At the same stop we saw mountains with snow on top of them. It was so neat seeing that since we were driving in the desert between AZ and Cali.
So after hours of driving and dealing with LA traffic and drifting in and out of sleep we Finally made it to the Lawrence's house. It was sooo good to see them. Annalise has gotten soo big. The last time I saw her I think she was 6 months old. She talks so much and is so tiny. I just love her pigtails. My kids have met their match she loves to say "no mine". And she would come up to me and ask "whats this" meaning who was I. Kevin's family was so welcoming and I hope we will be able to go back and visit a little longer.
We headed to the park. we also were planning to go to the beach but I was so exhausted and I wanted to spend as much time with my girl Kelsey and her family. Kelsey is Titi to our children cause of all the love she has shown unto my kids.
Yes I did get into the plastic tire.
Here we are. Isaiah and Gooby were both crying and wanted to get down. It was so good to see them and sad to leave but it feels good that we have good friends everywhere.
After our rondevous with the Lawrence's we headed down to San Diego in Poway CA. We went to see out friends the Jones. They were in the PP ward when Ayla was 2 and Isaiah was born. So their boys have grown allot also. The kids had a blast. Angel of course had a bad night cause our party boy Gooby likes to stay up late and eat the candy canes of the tree. but it was good we had a place to stay for the night.
This is the amazing view in front of the Jones house.
We then headed to a nearby playground. There are two levels. Gooby spone himself so much that he just laid there on the ground with his arms up and every time he got up he fell over like a cat wearing a shirt.
On our way home after driving forever around mountains in a place called Hidden hills and feeling so nauseous we stopped to eat at Mcdys in Brawley CA. I decided to take highways off my Nav so it took us on highway 78. We saw a lot of dirt bikes and cars it was so cool but we were also stopped at the border check point. I was asked my citizenship, where my green card was and how long I was married and where were my kids born and where Angel was born. I had my drivers license And he had more of a Spanish accent then me. Racial profiling. what is the world coming to? I guess living out here I need to carry my Green card ;)

Since we went a different way and I was driving we left around noon and got home around 9pm.
Today New Years day A good friend of ours rented a room in Bounce U for all our friends. It was so cheap. I took Ayla and Isaiah. They had a blast.
Here are two videos from our trip. One is from the kids as we drove up and down the huge dips on highway 78. The other is of the kool bikes and cars riding through the sand dooms.

Looks like it was fun. My dad lives in L.A. County and I think it is so fun to visit, I would neve want to live there though.
