Holiday Season

This is Angel and Collin Karen's youngest.

We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. Its a little confusing but I'll try to explain it as clear as I can. We were at the home of the parents of Sis Lawson. Bro and Sis Lawson were once the YW and YM leaders when Angel and I were in the youth. Around that time the Bishop was Bro Maurer. Now Former Bishop maurer's daughter just recently moved to Gilbert AZ about 15mins from me she was also in YW with me. So her parents (Bishop and sis maurer) came down for thanksgiving and we all met at the Lawson's parents house along with their big family. Like a small PP reunion.

My kids and Logan Karen's oldest. They could not get enough of the trampoline. I was also un prepared and since it rained and the yard was muddy it made for an interesting day with the kids. The party went from noon to 3 which was great cause we had the whole afternoon to rest.
We weren't able to bring left overs home so the next day we had our own little thanksgiving.
I made this awesome peach stuffing. It was sooo good. The kids weren't too fund but Angel and couldn't get enough.
Angel made Sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, and I made the turkey.
The day after thanksgiving we started to put up the decorations and the tree. I was determined since one year it took us a week before Christmas to put them up. So I at least wanted to enjoy the decorations a little longer this year.

Dec 2 we were able to go to the temple to see the lights and also Mesquite high school choir perform. Some of our youth were in the choir.

On the way home we drove around and found this house. It reminded us of the movie Deck the halls. there is also a water of lights.
This is me before i went to perform at the festival of trees. I am in this little women's choir and we perform for little gigs. I am Alto 2 a very different part. Its the base and there is a note that I can not reach. But I have been enjoying this time with my new found friends. Angel has also been recording us and we are planning to make a CD.

More is to come but since Angel is always around and I don't have a monitor then my blogs will be stretched out more.
