OMG! I can't believe my baby boy is 4. I remember that weekend very well. A lot had happened those 3 days.
After looking at so many houses to buy we had decided that Angel would go and look at the houses first and if the house was worth looking into he would then take me to go see it. Being towards the end of my pregnancy walking up and down the stairs was very exhausting. But one Saturday the 22, I guess I was dying to get out, so I decided that I would come along and see the home our realtor found for us. We went to go check it out and when we arrived the neighbor was watching us. I guess to see who might be moving in next door. Well she noticed how pregnant I was and said that if I were to have the baby right there and then, then the house would be ours. Well we fell in love with the house and decided to put an offer on it. So Sunday the 23 comes, 12am hits and I start to have contractions. I am laying in bed and logging the time in between the pain and they got close enough to call the doctor. At 7 I got up and started to pack and left Ayla with Angels mom. We went in and I was only 3 centimeters so I had to walk around the hospital with contractions for an hour. Angel would not let me sit down at all. Well when they finally admitted me I was in and out of sleep cause of the pain. ( Isaiah was the only baby i had contractions with) So little did I know as the doctors would come in and out to check, I was at 5 centimeters for 5 hours. It could have been all sorts of reasons why this was but of course it resulted in a c-section. So early Monday morning the 24th of May I had Isaiah Nathanial Gonzalez. The first thing the nurses said was that he was well endowed. So during the phone calls later when I got into my room our realtor calls and tells us even more good news. We got the house. It was definitely a wonderful weekend filled with blessings.
So here we are today a beautiful boy and a house still on the market tying up our money.
Isaiah at first was very shy and quiet. Angel spent a lot of time in nursery. And at first when we got to AZ Angel spent some time in primary. Now Isaiah goes in with his sister with no problem. He has been talking about his birthday for 3 months now and all he can talk about is getting transformers and power ranger toys.
He loves his siblings, fights with Ayla a lot but always looks out for his little brother and sister. Him and Sariah have this special bond that comes out once and awhile which just steals your heart away.
I would start him in preschool but it costs money here. But I am going to put him in Karate by himself so he will be able to go out in the world and find himself and come out from under Ayla's shadow.
ISAIAH - THE THE LORD IS SALVATION
NATHANAEL - GOD HAS GIVEN
We looked up the meaning of his name while we were deciding to name him and this is what we prayed about and what we felt he would want to be called.
I love my boy so much and he loves his father even more
Him and Angel in their spare time play Lego's together building robots. Isaiah always waits for his dad to come home from school which could be 12 am. They sometimes have sleepover parties where they would lay on the living room floor on an air mattress and watch movies. I am usually asleep before they go to bed. He loves playing with Ayla and her friend Alex. And LOVES candy. He would rather eat candy all day then any food.
We love our big boy so much and are grateful the Lord entrusted us to raise him.
